Being the co-founder and former executive director of West Coast Dance Explosion convention/competition has enabled John to share his passion for dance, and wealth of experience, with young dancers and dance educators from all over the world. He is one of the most versatile teacher/choreographers in the industry and looking back on his career- he has pretty much done it all! During his stellar career as a performer, he has appeared in many Broadway musicals, movies, TV specials and commercials. Some of his show credits include Bob Fosse’s Dancin’, A Chorus Line, Guys and Dolls, Cats and La Cage Aux Follies. He has worked with stars such as Celine Dion and Liza Minelli and performed on five Academy Award television programs, assisting Debbie Allen on those productions. Early in his career, John won the $100,000 grand prize on the hit TV show Star Search, with his group-Fuzion! John is currently working on several upcoming television and stage projects.
