The Family SZN 2 Convention Assistant Program

Our assistant program is designed to help dancers who would like to pursue dance as a professional career, experience real life scenarios through audition classes, learning and performing fast paced choreography, performing for the camera, and assisting our convention faculty with classes/events for an entire season! 

This program also helps dancers create relationships with other dancers, teachers, and choreographers, allowing them to build connections and resources for the future. Our hope is to collaborate with dancers who have like minded goals, passions, and dreams of pursuing dance in the future.

This program is directed & mentored by Keaton Kermode, Aaron Burr & Ryan Kirby.  Dancers will work closely throughout the season with these dance educators receiving choreography, close mentorship and industry insight. 

Dancers must attend a scheduled audition class at one of our conventions. Dancers will have the opportunity to be exposed to and experience what it is like to be in a professional audition from one of our amazing faculty members. Dancers must be atleast 9 years old at the time of audition but may not be older than a senior in highschool. 

Dancers should come prepared for:

• Any style of dance
• Pick up choreography quickly and be prepared for a fast paced environment
• Be prepared to answer any questions that may be asked during the audition process
