Julia Rose was born and raised in Upstate New York and began her dance training at the age of three, marking over 24 years in the dance world. She is trained in a wide range of styles including jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, and more, with a strong foundation in both technique and performance.
After graduating high school, Julia continued her education at Point Park University, where she pursued studies in Dance and Photography. During and after her time at Point Park University, she transitioned into teaching and has spent the past 10 years working with dancers of all ages and levels, helping them develop strong technique, musicality, and performance quality.
In addition to teaching, Julia performed professionally on a sports dance team before moving into leadership roles as a Coach and Assistant coach for two professional sports dance teams in football and indoor lacrosse. She is passionate about fostering positive, encouraging environments where dancers feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow as artists.
